Great distinctive scent and long lasting
by Arel on Oct 17, 2016
Clean, fresh scent and extremely long lasting. Got some on a shirt and it is smelling strong 26+ hours later. Definitely recommend this sample, sweet smell with a tinge of spice and leather, overall just a clean scent. Heavily complimented when wearing.
a sweet scent for warm weather
by Jeffrey on Sep 16, 2016
I kind of like this fragrance. It's sweet and kind of aquatic in it's vibe. I thought at first that it reminded me of "Wings" for men by Giorgio. I did a side by side comparison of both and "Wings" is less sweet and a lot more aquatic. I think "Invictus" is nice enough, but maybe not for me, for now. I think of this being best worn in the spring and summer during the daytime.
Not really for me
by RC on Aug 18, 2016
I've sampled this one a few times at various dept stores and thought it smelled pretty good on paper so decided to try it on skin. Doesn't really work for me. The bubblegum note or sweet note doesn't come across to great on me. So this one is a pass for me.
Wife loves it

This is a very clean, smooth, and sporty scent. The essence is very stylish and perfect for casual wear. If you like attractive and "cool" scents, then Invictus is for you. It's got a very sports car essence to it, and instantly makes you feel cooler than you were the moment you put it on. You can probably expect it to get you the same attention as well, because the style of the cologne is just that distinct and suave.
The notes are a little on the high side, so if you're not into that—or you like a decent measure of base note in your cologne—then you probably won't like Invictus.
Otherwise, you're probably going to love it, because its a prime scent otherwise.

I love this just so much. I can see this being worn any time of the year by any man. Its a little more wearable than one million. The notes really blend well together. Love was definitely put into this thoughtful gem.

Cant imagine the bo worn by anyone over 30. Very synthetic and odd smell. I give it a pluss for good performance though.

The scent is a bit of a mess where no notes a discernible. Very generic and inoffensive aromatic/aquatic. The bottle is hideous as well. A pass for me. I do see how this is popular though.
Better than 1 Million

This is better than 1 Million, but still not great. I think Paco Rabanne is overrated.
Great Lasting Sweet Modern Fragrance
by David on Oct 12, 2015
A great fragrance that opens with a blast of citrus fruit and an interesting aqua note. Later mellows out with some woodsy notes.
Lasts 8+ hours.
INVICTUS Reigns Supreme.
by Andrew on Feb 18, 2015
This scent is so amazing for me! It may be advertised for the macho man, but don't be fooled - this fragrance is strong, but fresh. I am not super masculine, so I wanted something that didn't smell like the everyday strong musk cologne we and know and hate. I tried everything from Gucci, Hermes, Armani, Polo, and everything in-between, but INVICTUS is what made me stop and smell it over and over again. I highly recommend it!!! Ships quickly, smells true to the bottled fragrance, and ships quickly (tracking number included). A+
Fresh and sweet

This scent lasted not that long for me; maybe around 6 hours. Projection was average. It smells really good. The sea notes really pop up at the end. It's tasty and sweet, something you can wear on the daily basis.

I wanted to add some thoughts about the Invictus bottle:
It seems to me that there is a movement to simplify modern bottles, making them very straight, cylindrical and/or somewhat and somehow colored. I feel that Paco Rabanne still believes that a huge amount of worldwide sales of perfumes is due to the real beauty and creativity of their bottles - together with what the fragrance actually represents. In this case, the Invictus bottle has everything to do with this idea. Therefore, Invictus is much more beautiful and special as a whole (bottle & precious juice) than what the media displays in imagery! Just outstanding!!
A Real Trophy!
by Heather on Mar 5, 2014
Invictus is a fragrance of fresh and sensual aspects. I would classify it as a fruity-woody, which is composed of notes of grapefruit peel, marine accord, and Bay leaves, balanced by notes of patchouli, ambergris, and guaiac wood. Superb!
The grapefruit peel aroma and bay leaves is very rich in the first few minutes, while the marine accord assists with a certain freshness, that permeates throughout the evolution of this scent. About 20 minutes in, the fruitiness gives way to the sweet awesomeness of ambergris, mingled with the creamy-smokiness of the guaiac wood. I'll mention that the sweet tone of ambergris is synthetic smelling, but so nice. This fragrance can be quite versatile, because of its marine content.
Invictus is beautiful inside and out and has median projection and lasts very well, which makes it a real trophy in anyone's collection! I sincerely believe that you will not be disappointed!
