Dreamer is a great unisex fragrance
Ok for it's uniqueness
by carl on Jun 1, 2017
I had this one briefly and enjoyed it for it's uniqueness. However, over time it didn't do it for me anymore. I love the fact that this fragrance is unique but I don't enjoy the smell that much. I can't quite put a finger on what it smells like. The good thing is if you like it, it does last long if i recall correctly.

Nice, dreamy smell. Soft and sweet and nice understated smell.
by Randy on Feb 16, 2017
The Dreamer is all over the place. The opening is awful, but after a long, long dry down, it becomes tolerable.

Soft and sweet, opens with tonka and hint of tobacco elegant, and warm fragrance
by Michael on Jun 27, 2016
Not sure how I feel about this. It is a little old fashioned.

A fragrance that smells of the 90s. A very synthetic herbal almost metallic lavender opening is a bit harsh but very nicely settles down into a herbal light tobacco blend. Truely unisex. You would want to be bold to pull this off. Proctor and silage is what you would expect from a Versace fragrance
by Alicia on Feb 10, 2016
Dreamer might well be the best of Versace fragrances. The strong herbal opening has little to do with the warm and lasting drydown. It is labeled as masculine, but I find it completely unisex. After its rather eccentric opening it becomes a soft, subdued scent once it dries down. Subdued and dreamy.

Fresh, Green Tobacco Leaf
by Brian on Oct 25, 2015
Initially, I get a strong green tobacco leaf vibe that is softened up a tiny bit with sweet tonka. The primary notes are tobacco, lavendar, tonka, and vetiver. Overall, the scent is mostly linear. Longevity and sillage are both above average. With the fresh, green vibe, this one reminds me of Lalique Hommage a L'Homme which has more of a violet leaf note, and I think I would prefer Hommage overall. However, Dreamer is quite enjoyable.

This fragrance sort of reminds me of laundry detergent. But then it more so reminds me of the fragrances in that league that I don't like, i.e.:Dunhill London, Dunhill Desire, Diesel Plus Plus, etc. There's a combo of notes that just don't smell attractive to me, but maybe to someone else. I think it's the cedar note combined with 1 or more other notes. This fragrance is sweet. This is probably ok and liked by others but not by me.
Tobacco, lavender, florals...
by Colin on Mar 22, 2015
The main notes of The Dreamer are tobacco, lavender and other florals with vanilla/tonka bean. I generally don't like colognes with lavender and The Dreamer is no exception.
This is a popular well-liked fragrance that you probably have to try to know if you like it or not.

Dreamy smell - like the name. Very cool drydown.
lasts all day

In the morning, I smelled the tobacco, and by 5 what's left is the orange and little bit of flower and musk.
A great scent
