This is Fabulous

I think this is my new favorite perfume. I'm a big Jo Malone fan anyway, but I had never tried this fragrance. It is divine. Cocoa-y and soft, yet vaguely floral on the dry down. It smells delicious! This will be a great autumn fragrance, but I can't wait that long. I'm going to wear it this summer too!

I've been playing around with layering lately and find that Jo Malone is perfect for this purpose. I dont really see this being for a woman though. The fruity notes disappear very quickly and it dries into a warm cocoa/vanilla smell that oddly enough reminds me of a much higher quality Cocoa Puffs cereal. This is by far the best projection/longevity than any other Jo Malone I've tried.

This is a good, very unique scent. It is my husband's favorite. I found the top notes to be better appreciated from an atomizer. The lime blossom and coriander are lovely, but fade within an hour on my skin. Although the warm notes are listed on top here, they are the ones that linger on me. I get warm, comforting, slightly sweet, but definitely not cloying, dry cacao that is well balanced with vanilla and a teeny touch of spice. Longevity of the warm notes is good. Overall, this is a warm, distinct scent that blends some opposing notes very beautifully. It is comforting and somewhat foody. I don't get sexy, but my husband would beg to differ.

I didn't like this one as much as I thought I would after reading the notes - just thought it was nothing special. I like Wood Sage and Sea Salt better for a unique, fresh and slightly masculine scent.
Great for guys

This is amazing on my boyfriend. He has an alternative style, this scent is an earthy coco with a hint of sweetness - all in a masculine way. I love that it's unisex, but it doesn't suit me quite as well as him. Would buy a whole bottle of this!

This is for you if you don't want to smell like everyone else!

Nice light gourmand, not cloyingly sweet, not noticeably chocolatey. Slightly better longevity than most JMs.
a nice "yummy" scent
by Jeffrey on Dec 1, 2013
This scent smells so different and nice. It smells "yummy" cause of the cacao notes in it,reminding me of chocalate flavored cereals,i.e.cocokrispies or cocopuffs. I'm not sure cause of it's sweetness with some floral notes that it would be candidate of a cologne for men to wear, mainly in public. The few floral notes it has in it are overtaken by the cacao notes. I hate to be critical to the design house of "Jo Malone"but where's the Agava flower note? It's not listed in the fragrance notes that it's in there, and they either spelled it wrong or wanted to spell it the way they wanted to. But "agava" is actually spelled "Agave" which is a desert or semi-arid plant that is grown here in the Southwest USA and other arid parts of the world.
unusual and interesting

It is an interesting combination that works. A mature, quality fragrance, and the cocoa anchors the blended florals well but not in a "food-y" sort of way. I own this scent, have worn often, and have never detected citrus, berries or spice notes (other than vanilla) at any point.
