Didn't hear great things, but I actually am quite fond of this. Works great on my skin and is light and versatile for summer.

A Better Hot Weather Fragrance for Me
by Brian on Nov 13, 2015
This is one of the better fresh, aquatic scents I've tried. It smells very fresh and works well on warmer days. Initially, I do pick up the citrus, but, after a half hour to an hour, I pick up on the seaweed note, and I think that works well. I'm not sure this would work so great when it's colder outside, but that shouldn't surprise anybody. This will likely be a full size purchase for me to go along with my other warm weather fragrances including Cool Water, Tommy Bahama St. Barts, PE 360 Red, and CK One. I have a couple other fragrances that are a bit more versatile such as Guerlain Homme L'eau Boisee, Encre Noire Sport, and Vicky Tiel Ulysse. I know Aqva will be a nice fit in my collection.
Update: After a few hours, this primarily turns into a nice cedar scent. I don't always enjoy the cedar in fragrances, but this one smells quite nice to my nose.
Update 2: I added that I do pick up the citrus initially. In fact, the opening actually reminds me of what I like about L'eau d'Issey. I prefer the way that Aqva develops.
Most realistic aquatic I've tried
by Jason on Nov 9, 2015
This literally smells like the ocean with some fantasied notes in it. I get the salty air, and the seaweed in the ocean. This is one of those that I appreciate the smell on paper, I just don't want to smell like it all day. Overall the best aquatic I've ever tired and by far the most realistic.

I see the positive reviews for this one, but I can't agree. It smells sour to me. A little better than Aqua Amara but not by much, that's why I'll give it 2 stars.
Sad end of bottle
by Stacia on Apr 12, 2015
But only because it is gone. Amber and seaweed, who would have thought? But it's balanced so nicely with a slightest hint, like an afterthought minutes later, of flower. In wear, the elements settle in and deliver just the right amount of each to be in the perfect accord for this scent. Bvlgari hits it again, this must be a classic scent, it's the best marine scent I've ever smelled.
A different aquatic
by Colin on Mar 24, 2015
Aqva Pour Homme is an aquatic scent but one that is different than most aquatics. I believe the seaweed notes set it apart. It seems very natural and fresh and reminds me of the ocean.
If you're looking for a summer scent that is different from what others are wearing, give this a try.

Like the other reviewer, feels like I'm near the ocean.. very nice, clean, crisp smell. Recommend.

Smells like being near on on the ocean.

This fragrance smells so nice. I think it's a classy aquatic scent. It reminds me of being near or on the ocean. No other aquatic fragrance comes that close like this one. I think this is one of the more better aquatic frags out there, if not the best. There's other good aquatic frags out there as well, but this remains more to the top of my list of favorites in the "aquatic" group. I don't know how the other Bvlgari Aqva flankers compare to this one as I never tried them out. I highly recommend trying this out first, if you're into aquatic frags.
