A more wearable Angel
by Denette on Feb 17, 2017
This is quite similar to the original Angel, however, this one is softer, the patchouli is less dirty, and there is a large does of red berries that makes it feel lighter. It is much easier to wear than the original. If you find the original Angel too heavy, dense, and strong, but like the "idea" if it, give this one a try! I get very good longevity and projection.

Patchouli Heaven! If you find Angel EDP too strong, try the EDT. There's no waiting for it to calm down, so it can be worn in public.

This perfume is a lighter version of the original. I love the pink pepper in this and would wear it alone if I was given a chance.

This smells familiar but new. Very clean and safe. Very popular

Excellent. A perfume should smell good. And, this perfume does. Flowery and intriguing.

I really thought this scent would be wonderful, but with the patchouli and pepper notes, I was disappointed.
This is actually a nice unisex fragrance
by Sean on Oct 10, 2015
Although this is marketed toward women, a man can definitely wear this. I think it smells very unisex, and I have met some men who wear it.

Okay - I don't mind a little patchouli as a base note in my fragrances, but this takes it over the top. It was a top, middle, and bottom note for me. No matter how long it stayed on me, it never dried down into something that allowed me to enjoy the other notes. Even my husband commented when he came into the room that he smelled something strange. I didn't feel too badly telling him it was me because he had given me this perfume as a gift and now I'll have more ammunition to get him to exchange it with me! It definitely has great longevity and sillage, which I love in a perfume, but in this case that worked against me! If you love patchouli, then give this one a go. If you're like me and want it as a back-up singer, not the headlining star, then steer clear!
Better than the EDP

If the EDP makes you gag a bit, try this version. It's a lot softer and will be easier to wear. The better choice for hot weather or close quarters.
Give it a Chance...

I really love this scent on me. At first smell of bottle and spray I wasn't sold, and wasn't sure if I would like it. However, as it toned down with my skin it smelled wonderful. Others loved it too on me. I would recommend giving it a try and let it sit for a day, the different notes do come out and depending on your own body chemistry, it may be wonderful on you too. Worth trying out at least once.
My New Signature Scent
by Krystal on Oct 30, 2014
I ordered 7 carefully chosen samples: Angel by Thierry Mugler, Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens, Yellow Diamond by Versace, Candy by Prada, Crystal Noir by Versace, Shalimar by Guerlain, Guilty by Gucci, Opium by Yves Saint Laurent, and Bvulgari Black by Bvulgari. And that is the order in which I rank them. It's funny, when I got my samples I couldn't make a decision as to which to wear first. I contemplated it as I took a shower, listening to Pandora, and as I stepped out, thinking I would try the Versace Yellow Diamond (clearly the brand I was expecting to be most in favor of since I got 2), "Angel" by Massive Attack came on my Pandora. I decided it was a decent suggestion, so I chose Angel instead.
Immediate love. It makes me feel just like the song. Like a strong, almost dangerous WOMAN on a mission. It's powerful, not in strength, but in the impression it creates. This is a personality, not a scent. If you've ever watched the movie "Perfume" I would not doubt if this were the ultimate perfume created in the movie or the scent that originally created the main character's obsession.
This perfume would not be out of place in any situation: work, the club, a party, walking down the street or in between the sheets.
I've found perfumes I've liked before and worn frequently, like Flower Bomb and Pulse, but they both felt too airy and demurely feminine to really feel like they were "me". I'm not proclaiming to be the type of woman I describe, but it's certainly the kind of woman I would like to be. And I feel like I transform into that woman when I put it on. If I'm feeling unmotivated, all I have to do is put that on and I'm on a mission.
Simply the best perfume ever created. I didn't even want to try the other perfumes afterwards, and when I did, I found myself thinking of Angel instead. This is the one for me.
I'm not describing all of the notes in it because you'll find that everywhere in everyone else's reviews and the whole is much more amazing than a list of it's ingredients. I hope to have conveyed to you the personality of this masterpiece, at least in part.
I highly suggest you get a sample, a few dollars for a try will last you a good long time of enchantment.

Okay, it comes on like gang-busters upon initial spray. At first I thought I had made a mistake...very heavy mistake! But then as it dries down in the first few minutes, it becomes a little more laid back, kicks of its killer high heels and stays for a while. And a while, it certainly is. The lasting power is fantastic. Like its little sister Angel Innocent and its more mature sister, Angel Liqueur, this one's on heavy rotation in my fragrance wardrobe. Mugler does fragrance right. This one's a triumph.

Love this perfume, one of my favorites. Long lasting, strong smell, only downside is, it does give me a headache but a lot of perfumes do as I am sensitive.
