I love this cologne. The price was great.

A classic scent that you can smell on many passerbys, but still great.
Best Designer Gourmand Fragrance
by Thomas on Jan 2, 2016
The only gourmand fragrance I've found to be better than this is Dior's Fève Délicieuse. But honestly, these two really shouldn't be compared with each other because of their prices and because A*Men is based around patchouli and chocolate whereas Fève Délicieuse is based around Tonka Bean.

Not a bad scent, a little too fruity for my taste.

Really boom scent!Kills everybody.someone negatively, someone positively.Anyway its very noticeable one.I like it myself, but not perfect for me.Enormous silage and longevity.
So much tar
by Jason on Nov 17, 2015
The tar note in this just kills it for me. It's just so abrasive for the 1st few hours that it just isn't enjoyable at all to me. Takes forever to dry down and become pleasant all the way towards the end when I can start to smell the other notes. Just way to strong for me. Not a fan.
Veyr harsh opening, but all around decent scent
by Sean on Oct 10, 2015
This should not be worn in warm weather, it is too strong. However, it is perfect for late fall and winter. It is very sweet, but still masculine.
Try to survive the opening

A*Men has an infamous tar note in the top notes that many people can't get past. I didn't find it too bad, but I can definitely see how many people dislike it.
I would recommend spraying it on paper, then walking away from it for an hour or two. Come back to smell the drydown, and you'll be more impressed.
Not a huge fan.

I find this scent to be slightly over powering. It is a nice clean smelling fragrance and the projection is very good. I recommend giving it a try

very strong coffee and caramel. not a blind buy, that's for sure...
by John on Mar 25, 2015
My ex girlfriend loved this scent and it reminds me if her so I'm biased :) It's pretty good but it's not a everyday cologne for me and for Fall/Winter wear. The scent did stay with me for a long time which was a big positive!
Great gourmand for cool weather
by Colin on Mar 22, 2015
A masculine fragrance with main notes of caramel, coffee, and vanilla. A*Men is sweet but not too sweet.
This is a cologne for fall and cold winter months. It would easily be cloying in warm weather.

Another great scent from the Mugler house! Get it you won't be disappointed!
Solid Cologne by Theirry Mugler
by Sean on Jul 9, 2014
The opening can be overwhelming because of the strong tar note, but the dry down is magnificent. After about 30 minutes or so it morphs into a very different smelling scent. It turns into a creamy chocolate scent with a light fruity undertone. I would suggest this cologne to any man ages 18-40.
A bit heavy on the tar
by Bridgette on Jun 28, 2014
I don't mind it, but my husband hated it. I guess it is the tar. It overpowers a bit much.

classic gourmand. caramel sweetness, smells good enough to eat...
by Heather on Mar 3, 2014
My brother wears this sometimes! Every time I smell him with this on, I suddenly get a craving for a Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks - imagine that! It's so creamy and sweet! All of those many notes working together create such a terrific scent dancing around the room - strong, but when applied with a light hand - DELISH! I now ponder if I should sample it myself!!
